finally, an update
A) I am still pregnant. 37 weeks. From this point forward, I am clear for the homebirth- we had the home visit from my midwife today, and all things labor/baby are in order.B) We have moved back into the house, finally. We projected being out of the house (but not finished with the remodel) for two weeks, and it wound up being four. We expected a down-to-the-studs kind of project, and ended up with, ah, more. We took out 5500 pounds of debris from a 10x20 space. We essentially rebuilt the entire structure while leaving the roof- which still needs some work, there just isn't the time right now for all that. Babies don't wait for construction, they don't wait for plumbing, and they don't wait for getting the drywall finished- which is still partially complete. It's up, just not mudded or taped or primed or painted. All things that didn't have to be done for us to come home, so it's not done.
I will have pictures of the quick descent into the bathroom reno from hell, and the slow, slow recovery to a functional bathroom (and utility, but it's not pretty. I'm not allowed to tape drywall anymore- heh. Bummer, right?). Later.
